Responsibilities

• Monitor, modify, and evaluate drug therapy for optimal outcomes; obtain drug histories and counsel patients.
• Perform pharmaceutical compounding for sterile and non-sterile preparations, including extemporaneous formulations.
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness based on guidelines, patient factors, and formulary options.
• Dispense medications with attention to accuracy, labeling, and patient safety; ensure regulatory compliance.
