Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive inpatient pharmaceutical services. Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year hospital clinical pharmacy experience or 2 years hospital experience.
• Hospital PGY1 residency or fellowship preferred.
• BCPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret orders and transcribe into the pharmacy system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapies for interactions, allergies, and dosing.
• Suggest cost-effective therapeutic alternatives to staff.
• Sustain formulary, promote rational drug therapy, and assist with clinical services.
• Oversee staff schedules and participate in drug safety reporting.

Education

PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy (ACPE)

Active pharmacist license

Hospital clinical pharmacy experience

PGY1 residency or fellowship
