Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with NYS license/registration required.
• B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required; hospital experience preferred.
• Demonstrated pharmacy competence, computer skills and leadership.
• Ability to read, write, hear, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative, clinical and drug distribution activities of the satellite pharmacy.
• Enter drug orders and review orders with patient profile for accuracy and safety.
• Prepare, check and dispense medications per policy for various distribution systems.
• Monitor patient drug therapy and coordinate with medical team for safety.
• Maintain inventory, including controlled substances, and ensure proper records.
