Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) within The Division of Correctional Health Services of NYC Health + Hospitals seeks a Clinical Staff Pharmacist responsible for the administrative, clinical and drug distribution activities at a satellite pharmacy.

You will ensure safety and quality of drug therapy, maintain inventory, review orders, provide patient counseling, and participate in quality assurance, with oversight by the Assistant Director of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Manages administrative, clinical and drug distribution activities of a satellite pharmacy.
• Reviews drug orders for formulary, dosage, administration route and therapy rationale.
• Provides patient counseling on drug therapy and participates in quality assurance/improvement projects.
• Maintains inventory of drugs and supplies, including controlled substances, and ensures documentation and compliance.
