Job summary

PharmcareUSA is seeking a full-time consultant pharmacist to deliver clinical medication management in long-term care settings. The role offers a mix of remote and on-site work and opportunities to educate nursing staff and residents, with travel within the state to facilities as needed.

The ideal candidate is licensed in the applicable state, proactive in staying current with regulations, and capable of collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the state(s) in which they practice.
• Knowledgeable about the legal responsibilities of the consultant pharmacist to nursing facilities, including all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services.
• Maintain minimum required continuing education hours established by state board of pharmacy.
• Mix of remote and on-site work.
• Travel to and from facilities within your state is required for on-site days. (Overnight stays are not typically required.)
• Flexible schedule with ability to help determine your schedule.
