Job summary

Pharma-Care is seeking a Consultant Pharmacist for a hybrid Long Term Care position. The role is 24–30 hours per week in Atlantic county, NJ, with pay between $50 and $52 per hour. A NJ Board of Pharmacy license is required, with a flexible work schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include travel to facilities, evaluating regimens, collaborating with physicians, and participating in antimicrobial stewardship. Prior CCP and PA license are a plus; US travel is expected regionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Willing to travel regionally to visit healthcare facilities.
• NJ Board of Pharmacy license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Travel to long term healthcare facilities in your region (typically within 45 min from home).
• Evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of medication regimens.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers to ensure patient needs are met.
• Apply knowledge of drug interactions, dosing, and adverse effects.
• Develop and implement protocols and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
