Job summary

The role includes processing prescription orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, and ensuring proper preparation, storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals in a compliant health-system setting.

Qualifications

• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in Montana.
• Pharm.D. degree, or BS Pharmacy, from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Anticoagulation therapy management certification from ACPE Accredited course and/or certified anticoagulation provider from ASHP when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical care by identifying, assessing, and solving medication problems.
• Responsible for providing physician, staff and family with drug information.
• Processes all prescription orders, maintaining appropriate records, and overseeing preparation, storage, and distribution of all pharmaceuticals.
• Supervision of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel.
• Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s policies and procedures.

Education

Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in Montana
