The only thing missing is you!** Assists in all aspects of staff and departmental management while fostering a professional practice environment focused on safe and effective patient care. Supervises and directs daily operational activities of the department, including staffing assignments and workflow coordination. Serves as the primary on-shift operational leader, ensuring efficient workflow and appropriate escalation of issues. Organizes and coordinates pharmacy staff activities to meet departmental responsibilities, including oversight and optimization of pharmacy automation and software used in daily operations. Provides coaching, feedback, and performance support to staff to promote accountability and development. Supports implementation of clinical and operational initiatives in collaboration with pharmacy leadership and contributes to continuous improvement efforts. Assists pharmacy leadership in enforcing organizational policies and procedures related to the receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing, and disposal of pharmaceuticals. Additionally, responsible for carrying out the duties of the manager in their absence.Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
