SUMMARY

The Clinical Pharmacist works in patient care areas. They are competent in reviewing and evaluating medication orders for appropriate pharmacotherapy across various age groups, including Neonatal, Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric patients. The role requires effective communication with nursing staff and physicians to resolve and prevent drug-related problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctorate of Pharmacy degree plus 1 year of post-Phar.D. experience.
• ASHP-accredited Residency in pharmacy practice or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with at least 5 years of post-Phar.D. experience in pharmacy practice, or a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy with at least 6 years of relevant experience at GHS.
• Full licensure as a Pharmacist in Georgia or eligibility for full licensure within 120 days via reciprocity or exam.
