Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check all medications leaving the department for quality assurance.
• Dispense medications from physician orders with accurate entry.
• Verify dosages on physician orders for patient safety.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals about orders and drug interactions.
• Monitor adverse drug reactions and participate in pharmacokinetic dosing.
• Oversee technicians operating Omnicell and input IV meds into HBOC.
