Job summary

Kindred Hospital Indianapolis North is a 45-bed long-term acute care facility dedicated to extended recovery with 24-hour clinical care. We seek a licensed pharmacist to collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and dispense medications per physician orders.

The role includes supervision of technicians, ensuring safety, and advising on regulatory standards across departments. An active state license and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree.
• Current state license in good standing.
• BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Dispenses medications and distributes pharmaceutical supplies per physician orders.
• Participates in Performance Improvement plans within the hospital.
• Advises Administration and Medical Staff on quality, regulatory, and risk issues.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and supports clinical education programs.
• Ensures accuracy and safety of medication orders and patient profiles.
