Job summary

Atrium Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the Central Pharmacy on the 3rd shift (9:00 pm–7:30 am). This role is a 7/70 schedule with seven ten-hour shifts followed by seven days off, supporting medication processing and patient care. You will supervise technicians, ensure accurate dispensing, and contribute to quality improvement while staying compliant with standards.

A Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy with NC licensure is required; ASHP PGY1 is a nice-to-have.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
• Current state pharmacist license is required in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders and prescriptions from physicians and nurses.
• Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing, optimizing staff utilization.
• Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts through teamwork.
• Continuously update and document skills and knowledge.
• Maintain documentation for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Set personal goals to support departmental objectives.
