Job Summary

This position is responsible for activities related to the administration and management of pharmacy programs, including but not limited to:

• Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a disease state formulary system
• Utilization management programs
• Specialty pharmacy management
• Medication therapy management, client relationships, and support
• Development of innovative clinical programs

Required Job Qualifications:

• Registered Pharmacist in the United States
• Experience with window-based word processing, spreadsheets, and relational databases
• Strong drug information skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of practice guidelines, practice parameters, pharmacoeconomics, quality improvement processes, and medication use evaluation principles
• Ability to perform long periods of computer work
• Skills to handle multiple priorities and communicate professionally for issue resolution

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of pharmacy practice experience
• Additional certifications and residency experience
• Managed care or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience
• Experience with MTM, specialty pharmacy, or government programs

This is a Remote (Telecommute) role: Must reside within 250 miles of the office or anywhere within the posted state.

Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $180,700
