Job summary

HCSC is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy benefits program compliance and legislative implementation. The role may involve administration and management tasks across various programs.

The ideal candidate will bring US pharmacist licensure, strong drug information skills, excellent communication, and experience with guidance on practice parameters, pharmacoeconomics, and quality improvement. This is a flex (hybrid) role with 3 days in office and 2 remote.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist in the United States.
• Experience with Windows-based word processing, spreadsheets and relational databases.
• Strong drug information skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of practice guidelines, pharmacoeconomics, and QA processes.
• Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles.
• Ability to perform long periods of computer entry at a workstation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and professional communications.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for oversight including consultation on legislative implementation around pharmacy benefits and compliance. May perform activities associated with administration and management of pharmacy programs but not limited to assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of various programs.

Job Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist in the United States.
• Experience using window based word processing, spreadsheet and relational database software.
• Drug information skills.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of practice guidelines or practice parameters; pharmacoeconomics; quality improvement processes and techniques.
• Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles.
• Ability to remain at a work station and perform computer entry for long periods of time, as required.
• Skills to handle multiple priorities and manage communications professionally to achieve issue resolution with customers, employees, or management

Preferred Job Requirements

• 3 years of experience within Pharmacy practice.
• Additional certifications and residency experience.
• Managed care and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience.
• MTM experience, specialty pharmacy, or government programs knowledge.
• Experience with Compliance and Audits

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee’s weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range

$102,000.00 - $184,300.00
