Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing activities associated with the administration and management of pharmacy programs, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a disease state formulary system
  • Utilization management programs
  • Specialty pharmacy management
  • Medication therapy management, client relationships, and support
  • Development of innovative clinical programs
Required Job Qualifications:
  • Registered Pharmacist in the United States
  • Experience using window-based word processing, spreadsheet, and relational database software
  • Drug information skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of practice guidelines or practice parameters, pharmacoeconomics, quality improvement processes and techniques
  • Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles
  • Ability to remain at a workstation and perform computer entry for long periods
  • Skills to handle multiple priorities and manage communications professionally to achieve issue resolution with customers, employees, or management
Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience within pharmacy practice
  • Additional certifications and residency experience
  • Managed care and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience
  • MTM experience, specialty pharmacy, or government programs knowledge

This is a Telecommute (Remote) role: Must reside within 250 miles of the office or anywhere within the posted state.
