Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a night shift Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time role to optimize patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective medication management and IV admixture services.

You will work under the Pharmacy Director, supervise technicians and students, and collaborate with clinicians to support high-quality patient care and medication safety.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Other applicable state requirements (e.g., sterile compounding).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ALS/ACLS certification (ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue).

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, an IV admixture program, and providing drug information.
• Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.

• Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
