Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is seeking a qualified perfusionist to operate the heart-lung machine during cardiac surgeries and other procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass. The role supports the physiological and metabolic needs of cardiac patients in a high-volume clinical setting.

Reports to the Director/Perfusion; supervises none. This position requires ABCP certification and relevant education, with preferred additional years of experience in perfusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Perfusion from an accredited perfusion program.
• Two (2) years as a certified clinical perfusionist.
• Certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
• Three (3) or more years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates the heart-lung machine during cardiac surgery and other procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass.
• Supports the physiological and metabolic needs of the cardiac surgical patient.
• Reports to the Director/Perfusion.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Perfusion from an accredited perfusion program.
