Job summary

Sound Physicians in Adrian, MI is seeking a Clinical Performance Registered Nurse (CPN) to lead quality and process improvements without direct patient care. You will work in a fast-paced acute care hospital, applying clinical knowledge to discharge planning and care coordination.

This collaborative role requires strong EMR and MS Office skills, a BSN is preferred, and an active RN license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in acute care nursing.
• Active RN licensure in good standing; BSN preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction.
• Experience in case management or post-acute services is helpful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge in an acute care setting.
• Assess patients' clinical status and readiness for discharge.
• Ensure effective communication across the care team as patients progress.
• Focus on improving the overall quality of patient care.
• Participate in daily workflows and advocate for patient goals in the care plan.
