Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree and completed ACGME-accredited pathology residency.
• Transfusion medicine/blood banking fellowship and board certification or eligibility.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Experience in teaching residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and consultative support in transfusion medicine.
• Perform specialized test interpretation and sign-out.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient apheresis service.
• Supervise residents and fellows; teach medical students.
• Engage in research and scholarly activity.
