Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to help ensure a great patient experience by preparing patients for on-site or remote examinations. You will assist during eye exams, perform pre-testing, and document results in the EMR, while communicating clearly with patients and staff.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and flexibility to travel between locations. Part-time schedule with pay between $18 and $27 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience in optical/healthcare.
• Strong customer service and professionalism required.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect/submit medical history and ocular data.
• Assist onsite doctor and explain preliminary testing; document results in EMR.
