Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nursing Service Administrator to lead daily operations in nursing administration, ensuring patient-centered care and efficient service delivery. You will develop policies, manage staff, and apply Lean methods to improve outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, an associate degree in nursing, and at least 3 years in nursing administration with supervisory experience. ACLS/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required with active RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing field experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in nursing administration preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, steer, and coordinate daily tasks in nursing service administration.
• Create policies and procedures to achieve department priorities.
• Oversee daily operations with emphasis on patient-centered care.
• Guide and train staff; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Apply Lean methods to improve practice and patient care.
• Plan staffing budgets and equipment/expense budgets for the year.
• Generate reports and maintain records for performance and reporting.
