Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead a team of clinicians, uphold high patient care standards, and maintain a safe, healing environment.

This on-site, full-time role oversees operations, staffing, and resource distribution to meet department priorities. Requirements include an RN, an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and at least two years of experience (Med/Surg 1 year, Oncology a plus).

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Associates degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Two years of nursing experience; 1 year Med/Surg, 1 year Oncology a plus.

• Working closely with members from different professional fields to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assessing how effective the nursing practices are and infusing practices and research discoveries that are evidence-based.

Job Summary

Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.

Work Model

• Onsite
• Full time days/ Variable shifts
• Must have flexibilty to cover shifts when needed, to include weekend if short-staffed.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Associate's Degree
• MAJOR - Nursing
• EXPERIENCE - (2) Two Years of Experience
  • 1 Year Med/Surg experience
  • 1 Year Oncology experience a plus
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Chemo Certification or obtain within 6-12 months
