Job summary

Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx seeks an experienced health services administrator to oversee supervisory and administrative duties within the Department of Medical Services, supporting program delivery, staff supervision, and coordination with clinical teams to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university; and one (1) year of full-time experience in a health care setting; or
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; and two (2) years of full-time experience in a health care setting; or
• A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience, in which each year of relevant training and/or experience can be substituted for 30 semester credits from an accredited college or university. However, all applicants must at least have a High School diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization.

Responsibilities

• Consults with medical and professional staff to plan and coordinate joint patient and management objectives.
• Provides administrative supervision for a health service program.
• Plans, develops, and may conduct training programs to maintain proficiency of staff and use of new equipment and methods.
• Allocates staff on basis of workload, space, and available equipment.
• Coordinates research projects and conducts special studies to evaluate rehabilitative programs.
