Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA seeks an experienced nursing leader to oversee administrative and operational aspects of assigned departments, guiding cost control, HR, patient outcomes, and staff engagement within the Shared Governance model.

Responsibilities include succession planning, talent development, education support, and ensuring staffing to deliver adolescent to geriatric care. GA RN licensure and BCLS required; 3 years in nursing with 1 year in leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years of nursing experience in hospital or clinical setting.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• GA RN licensure and BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Admin and operational responsibility for assigned departments, including cost and finance, HR, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes.
• Lead patient/physician and staff satisfaction initiatives within Shared Governance.
• Drive change management and build succession planning to grow future nursing leaders.
• Assist in staffing to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
