Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking an experienced nursing leader to direct administrative and operational functions within assigned departments. You will oversee cost management, human resources, operations, and quality of care.

The role emphasizes succession planning, staff development, and collaboration with Shared Governance to foster patient- and family-centered care across the continuum, while supporting clinical leadership across ages.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient) or clinical (outpatient) setting, including at least 1 year of leadership experience.
• RN license (Georgia) and BCLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments, including management of cost and finance.
• Oversee human resources, operations, quality of care and patient/staff satisfaction.
• Support succession planning and develop future nursing leaders.
• May assist in staffing to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
