Job summary

Livingston County Community Mental Health is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Operations in Howell, MI. This role provides strategic leadership across clinical operations and supervises key departments to ensure high-quality care and compliance.

The position reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with Clinical Program Directors to align practice with Medicaid/PIHP requirements, while driving workforce planning, productivity, and program improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Three to five years of professional mental health experience.
• Five to seven years in mental health/behavioral health with leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of clinical operations.
• Supervise Access/Intake, Emergency Services, Mobile Crisis, and Customer Service.
• Ensure programs meet Medicaid, Medicare, MDHHS and payer requirements, and billing processes.
• Lead development of clinical policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Coordinate with Finance and Compliance on regional/state changes affecting service delivery.
