This role requires a MD/DO with board certification, DEA and BLS, plus 5+ years clinical practice and 2+ years in leadership within corrections.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified physician in operation states.
• DEA registration and BLS certification.
• 5+ years of progressive clinical practice; 2+ years in leadership/medical director role.
• 2 years in a correctional facility physician role.

Responsibilities

• Leads recruitment, retention, and development of Medical Directors and Physicians at all sites.
• Manages physician scheduling and payroll processing.
• Oversees CME, licensing, board certification, and APP protocol agreements.
