Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program required.
• Florida RN license active.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• ACLS and PALS certifications required in designated areas.
• ONCC Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Certificate required for chemotherapy administration.
• Newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain ACLS/PALS, and Fetal Monitoring if L&D.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors, documents and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
• Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagements.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and manages equipment and supplies.
