Job summary

The position requires two years of nursing experience, active Florida RN licensure with ACLS/BLS/PALS, and flexibility for odd shifts and weekend coverage. Regulatory compliance and staff development are key components.

Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing Program is required.
• Florida RN license is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS for pediatric areas where applicable.
• Newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain ACLS, PALS, and fetal monitoring if L&D.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
• Monitors, documents and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Ensures regulatory compliance. Assists with identifying systems, equipment and supplies and monitors usage.
• Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagement.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, satisfaction and conflict management.
