Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Administrative Nursing Supervisor to provide administrative oversight across hospital operations in collaboration with department leaders. You will help ensure smooth patient care delivery and system-wide coordination in a dynamic environment.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, BSN preferred or anticipated within 3 years, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS along with supervisory experience. Expect emphasis on safety, throughput, and staff development.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Nursing License is required.
• BSN preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, Telemetry Certification, and IV Certification.
• National certification preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical competence with a minimum of three years of acute care nursing.
• At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and team building.
• Ability to function under stress and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the operation and delivery of patient care in collaboration with department leaders and team members
• Monitoring and facilitating patient flow/ throughput
• Conducting regularly scheduled rounds on all areas of the hospital/ nursing units to ensure safe and quality care is provided
• Completing special projects and performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to support the bedside clinician to meet the needs of the department as needed
