Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a senior clinical operations leader to direct care delivery across a department, division or unit. You will ensure quality patient care, develop evidence-based policies, and supervise clinical staff with strong performance management.

You will manage budgets, control expenses, coordinate with practice managers and AVPs, and lead staff development, performance improvement and HR activities to maintain service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 1 year of clinical or directly related healthcare leadership/practice management required.
• 5 years experience in a clinical role required.
• General experience in clinical role in assigned clinical area preferred.
• Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the clinical care provided to patients in a department, division or unit.
• Maintains standards of service excellence and clinical practice.
• Develops evidenced based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure provision of quality patient care.
• Responsible for clinical staffing.
• Responsible for budget, control of expenses and maintenance of supplies/equipment in collaboration with practice managers, senior administrators and AVPs.
• Responsible for continuing development and education of clinical staff, performance improvement and human resource management.
• Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels clinical staff in their work performance.
