Job summary

Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking applicants for faculty positions with the goal of advancing to the position of Director of Predoctoral Oral Surgery Program within two years. Faculty will teach in predoctoral and postdoctoral programs, while maintaining active clinical practice to enrich education.

Applicants should have CODA-approved OMS credentials, ABOMS board certification or eligibility, and licensure to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD/DDS from a CODA-accredited school, or foreign equivalent.
• Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from CODA-accredited program or equivalent.
• Board certification by the American Board of OMS or eligibility for it, or equivalent international OMS certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach in predoctoral and postdoctoral programs and provide direct patient care daily.
• Engage in clinical practice at least one day per week at the school or nearby facility.
• Supervise or provide care in operating rooms and hospitals associated with Temple University.
• Contribute to academic culture and teaching excellence in an apprenticeship model.
