Job summary

Temple University, through the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, seeks a faculty Exodontist for full- or part-time appointment.

The role includes direct patient care and supervising pre-doctoral students in both emergency and elective Oral Surgery clinics, with participation in teaching in clinics, labs, and didactic sessions. Applicants should hold a DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program, be an active clinician with busy-practice experience, and have PA licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have a DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program.
• Active clinician with experience in a busy practice.
• Preference for CODA-accredited AEGD or GPR graduates.
• Appointees must have PA licensure or eligibility.
• Experience in minor oral surgery and dental extractions.
• Strong teaching ability and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Emergency and elective Oral Surgery clinics.
• Supervise pre-doctoral students in clinics and pre-clinical laboratories.
• Engage in didactic teaching and other teaching activities as needed.
