How you make a difference
The Clinical Office Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to health services under the direction of the Health Services Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support to staff as assigned and inform Health Services Administrator of any difficulties in handling assigned work.
- Maintain facility clinical files and records, ensuring required documentation is present and advising Health Services Administrator of missing documentation.
- Ensure timely pick-up and distribution of clinical mail on a daily basis, as well as monitoring inventory of office supplies.
- Type forms and documentation as assigned, and provide telephone coverage with polite and accurate documentation of messages.
- Duplicate material as requested by clinical staff and interrelate and work effectively with all clinical and facility staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Experience in organization and clerical skills needed for timely completion of assigned duties in a professional manner.
- Basic typing and computer skills are required.
- Ability to work in a diverse professional setting.
