McLaren Health Care seeks an Occupational Therapist to join its system serving Michigan patients. The role involves evaluating ADL/IADL deficits, developing individualized treatment plans, and guiding patients toward meaningful daily activities under physician orders.

You will perform ongoing reassessment, discharge planning, and education for patients and families, while ensuring safety and compliance with standards. State OT licensure and BLS are required, NBCOT preferred for advancement.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited program of occupational therapy.
• Current State Board of Occupational Therapy licensure.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Performs patient evaluations by establishing an occupational profile and goals.
• Establishes an individualized plan of care and selects therapeutic interventions.
• Conducts ongoing reassessment of patient progress.
• Initiates and manages discharge planning from first visit.
• Supervises and delegates to ancillary staff as allowed by law.
• Documents accurately within policy and accreditation requirements.
• Educates patient and family to meet learning needs.
• Engages in quality improvement activities.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to standards.
