The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical in OB/GYN Generalists to join the division and serve as an attending physician focused on obstetric care. The role blends outpatient practice with inpatient duties at UM Hospital and Jackson Health facilities, including night/weekend coverage and teaching responsibilities for residents and fellows.

Candidates must be MD or DO, Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN, hold an active FL license and DEA, and have

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Active Florida Medical License and DEA.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Credentialing needed.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, independence, discretion.
• Evening, night, and weekend work availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetrics/gynecology care 2–3 days per week at UM UHealth Clinics and Jackson Memorial ACC.
• Attend inpatient L&D and GYN call coverage; manage obstetric patients.
• Educate OB/GYN residents and fellows; participate in teaching.
• Develop and implement comprehensive medical treatment plans addressing bio-psycho-social factors.
• Document in EPIC and Cerner; billing via Mobile Charge.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies; report QA incidences.
