Job summary

The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Clinical in the Division of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences to join the OB/GYN Generalists.

The successful candidate will participate in in- and out-patient obstetrics/gynecology care across multiple UM health facilities, teach 28 residents and medical students, and provide L&D coverage while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Board Certified/Eligible required.
• Active Florida Medical License & DEA or Board Certified in OB/GYN. Unrestricted Florida license eligible.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynecology care.
• Educational duties: teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans addressing biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors.
• Prescribe medical treatment and coordinate with L&D services.
• Cover L&D shifts as required (12 hours; 6 shifts per month).
• Ensure documentation using EPIC and Cerner systems and maintain QA reporting.
