Rochester Regional Health Gouverneur Hospital seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead nursing operations on rotating 12-hour shifts with weekend requirements. This per diem role supports patient care delivery, staffing, and coordination across clinical teams.

The Supervisor provides clinical leadership, mentors staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with nursing, medical, and administrative leadership to maintain high standards of care.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• 3 years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Current NYS RN Licensure.
• BLS certification, ACLS and PALS within required timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical Leadership & Patient Care Oversight: Manage hospital operations during off shifts and resolve clinical issues.
• Staff Support & Collaboration: Mentor staff, support patient flow, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Patient Advocacy & Safety: Round on patients, address concerns, reinforce policies and infection control.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with nursing, medical, and administration teams.
