Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a qualified Nursing Leader to oversee nursing and clinical services for the practice. You will provide direct patient care while coordinating clinic operations, staff supervision, and ensuring safe, high-quality care.

You will lead staff evaluations, maintain competencies, and train new and existing team members, ensuring regulatory compliance and ongoing readiness of the practice.

Qualifications

• Active CA LVN license with IV Therapy and blood withdrawal certification.
• BLS Card from ARC or AHA must be current.
• 3+ years LVN experience required.
• Ability to take vital signs and administer medications.
• Report abnormal labs to physician; recognize medical conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills; team communication and leadership.
• Phlebotomy, CPR, injections within scope of practice.
• Proficient with computers and computerized patient care systems.
• Knowledge of safety requirements for biohazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and clinical services, providing direct patient care and leadership.
• Coordinate clinic operations, patient flow, and supervise nursing staff.
• Assign duties per protocols; ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Administrative oversight: supervise staff, ensure policy compliance, adjust staffing.
• Lead performance evaluations, annual competencies, onboarding and training.
• Oversee QA processes, review timesheets, maintain readiness of the practice.
