Newman Rehabilitation & Health Care Center seeks a Clinical Nursing Manager (RN) in Illinois to lead nursing services for residents, working with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality care in line with federal, state, and company standards.

The role requires a current RN license in the practicing state, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. LTC/SNF/AL/MC supervision experience is beneficial for success in this role.

Qualifications

Currently registered as an RN in the state of practice.
Two years of nurse supervisory experience preferred.
Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services.
Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards.
In the absence of the DON, assume responsibility for clinical operations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Clinical Nursing Manager | RN, you will be responsible for supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Clinical Nursing Assistant| RN, assumes the responsibility for clinical operations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills
