Job summary

Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte is seeking adjunct Nursing faculty to oversee and deliver clinical and experiential education for students. You will prepare course materials, supervise student practice, and assess learning outcomes to ensure mastery of objectives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from regionally accredited institution
• Qualified to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina
• Experience in nursing education or clinical teaching preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned clinical or experiential courses, develop lesson plans and materials
• Provide and supervise clinical education opportunities aligned with course objectives
• Communicate feedback on student performance to maintain continuity of care
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic achievement
• Distribute syllabus with objectives, texts, attendance policy and evaluation criteria
• Identify students at risk and provide counseling or referrals as needed
• Refer students to appropriate university resources for support
• Perform other duties as assigned
