Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a Medical Center or similar setting.
• 1 year of supervision/leadership or shared governance experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assess staff competency and serve as a clinical resource and role model.
• Complete focused rounding for all patients within 24 hours of admission and support best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers to plan and optimize care delivery.
• Audit nursing care documentation for compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff; support unit practice committees.
