Dayton Children's in Dayton, OH, is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department - South Campus. This full-time role (36 hours) focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient and family needs.

Required are an Associate Degree in Nursing, Ohio RN licensure, CPR certification, and a commitment to BSN within 5 years of hire.

Facility: Dayton Children's - South Campus Department: Emergency Department - South Campus Schedule: Full time Hours: 36 Job Details: The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care using the standards of care and the standards of professional performance outlined by the American Nurses Association and the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN interacts with an interdisciplinary team to promote the optimal health potential of the patient and family, delivering proficient nursing care based on a detailed assessment of the patient/family needs and the hospital mission. The RN promotes a patient and family experience-oriented environment and acts as a change agent to meet the rapidly changing census and needs of all customers-both internal and external.

Job Description

Education

Associates degree in nursing required. Graduation from an accredited program of nursing. Dedication to acquire Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire.

Certification/Licensure

• Registered Nursing license in State of Ohio
• CPR : Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation - required
• Commitment to obtain Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited program of nursing.
• Registered Nursing license in State of Ohio.
