Dayton Children's is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Education department at the Main Campus. The RN will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and promote a patient and family-centered care approach. A BSN is encouraged within 5 years of hire, with Ohio RN licensure and CPR certification required.
The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, at the Dayton Children's Main Campus, with a focus on education and adherence to ANA and state standards.

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care utilizing the standards of care and the standards of professional performance outlined by the American Nurses Association and the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN interacts with an interdisciplinary team to promote the optimal health potential of the patient and family, delivering competent nursing care based on a documented assessment of the patient/family needs and the hospital mission. The RN promotes a patient and family experience-oriented environment and acts as a change agent to meet the rapidly changing census and needs of all customers-both internal and external. Commitment to obtain Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire. Graduation from an accredited program of nursing. Registered Nursing license in State of Ohio. Selection process is a two step process.
Through Children’s Home Care of Dayton, we provide pediatric home care services to children in over 21 counties with needs ranging from managing chronic illness and premature births to patient family education, palliative care and recovery from hospitalizations.
