Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a nurse program leader to plan, coordinate and oversee operations for a service line, ensuring high quality and cost-effective care. The role requires collaboration with nursing leadership and the multidisciplinary team to implement standards of care and education.

Candidates should have an MSN/MHA or related master’s degree, RN licensure, and BLS. After-hours and weekend needs may arise based on facility requirements.

Qualifications

• MSN, MHA, or master’s degree in a related field is required.
• 2 years nursing experience required; 5 years experience preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS for Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Oversees program/initiative operations for a specified service line.
• Develops quality, cost-effective programs by synthesizing literature and data.
• Coordinates clinical care with the multidisciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Collaborates with nursing leadership to implement education and competencies.
• Serves as expert resource for policies, procedures and standards of care.
