Job summary

Mainline Health Systems, Inc. in Star City, AR is seeking a Clinical Nurse/Medical Assistant to join the Nursing department and support physicians, APNs and PAs in delivering primary health care within a Patient Centered Medical Home model.

The role includes exam room preparation, specimen collection, medication administration, referrals, EMR documentation and patient education; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have current license as LPN or RN in Arkansas.
• Experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Must have current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and setup room with needed supplies and/or equipment.
• Assist provider with patient examination as needed.
• Collect specimens, label and deliver to the Laboratory.
• Administer medications as ordered and document in EMR.
• Manage referrals and pre-certifications when needed.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and keep required logs current.
