Role Overview

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced Critical Care PACU environment, managing a 90-bed unit. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, emphasizing patient and family-centered approaches. The role requires developing and documenting individualized care plans, promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and educating patients on post-treatment care. The nurse will utilize critical thinking skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers to involvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Licensure: RN license required
• Experience: No prior experience necessary; 2+ years of experience preferred
• Experience in Phase 1 PACU or level 1 critical care is advantageous
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work safely in a high-alert environment
