Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or health-related field preferred; BSN required
• RN license and NY registration
• 5+ years clinical nursing with 3+ years supervisory experience
• Infection Control and BLS certifications
• Strong collaborative, analytical, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with electronic medical records
• Interest or experience in community-based healthcare and diverse populations

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day clinical operations oversight for patient care and fiscal management
• Ensure efficient patient flow, exam room readiness, triage protocols, and interdisciplinary team huddles
• Maintain medical equipment standards and safety programs (VFC)
• Ensure compliance with Montefiore policies and regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, NYC DOHMH)
• Develop and monitor balanced scorecard and drive quality improvement across all BHC sites
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, competencies, and coaching
• Manage departmental budgets and forecast operational needs
• Foster interdisciplinary partnerships to support patient- and family-centered care
• Promote professional nursing practice and service excellence
• Ensure quality, patient safety, infection prevention, and performance improvement standards
• Participate in committees and strategic planning
• Associates may transfer after probationary period if applicable
