Job summary

Capital Medical Group, part of Independence Physician Management (IPM) and a subsidiary of UHS, seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse Navigator/Coordinator to drive clinical excellence in the DC area. You will lead nursing initiatives, support multiple specialties, and educate staff within a large physician group.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, coordination of tests, follow-up, and collaboration with providers to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree or higher in Nursing.
• Basic fetal monitoring certification or ability to obtain in first 30 days.
• AHA-Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience in Family Planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced nursing knowledge to assess and plan care for patients.
• Manage OB/GYN Triage Schedule and provide patient education.
• Assist physicians in routine patient care and procedures.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation in EPIC and coordinate follow-up.
• Serve as a triage nurse by phone or in clinic and prioritize patient needs.
