Capital Medical Group, part of Independence Physician Management, is seeking an experienced RN leader to support ambulatory nephrology care in the DC area. You will balance onsite clinical duties with triage via calls and messages to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes patient education, care coordination, and collaboration with physicians and APPs, embedded in a large multi-specialty practice network.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current DC RN license or eligibility.
• Minimum of two years of RN experience.
• Ambulatory care and care coordination preferred.
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, patient-facing nursing care in ambulatory nephrology.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to support care.
• Manage clinical work queues, triage by phone and electronic messages.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure follow-up.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care.
